Inspired by the Fluxus movement of the 60’s, the pieces in this exhibition defy the expectations of what art is understood to be. Fluxus artists believed that by spreading their art, bridges were built between the creative community and broader society. They took a very comedic stance on art and weren’t afraid to ridicule or criticize the elite realm of “fine art.”
